"Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith?" — Matthew 8:26
Storms are inevitable in life.
The question is not whether storms will come. The question is whether your faith will survive them.
When Jesus and His disciples entered the boat, a violent storm arose. The disciples became overwhelmed by fear. Yet Jesus was sleeping peacefully.
The storm did not trouble Jesus because He already knew the destination.
Many believers panic because they focus on the storm instead of the Savior.
Perhaps you are facing a storm in your marriage. Perhaps your business is under pressure. Perhaps your finances have become uncertain. Perhaps your health is being challenged.
Remember this truth: the presence of a storm does not mean the absence of God.
Jesus was in the boat the entire time.
Sometimes God allows storms because storms reveal the true condition of our faith. Storms expose whether we trust His voice or our fears.
Relentless faith refuses to surrender to panic.
Relentless faith says, "God brought me this far. He will carry me through."
Relentless faith remembers that every storm has an expiration date.
The same God who calms seas still rules over every situation in your life.
Trust Him.
Prayer: Father, help me to keep my eyes on You during life's storms. Strengthen my faith and silence every fear that seeks to overwhelm me. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
